ExCeL & ADNEC scoop honours at C&IT Awards

The 2023 C&IT Awards saw both ExCeL London and ADNEC receive top honours last night (5 October) in what is billed as the most prestigious awards night in the industry.
For the second consecutive year, ExCeL won the 'Best Automotive Event' category for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, with judges once again praising its one-of-a-kind indoor/outdoor circuit and fan experience.
Meanwhile, ExCeL owners ADNEC scooped another of the top awards for the night winning in the 'Best Venue - Rest of the World' category.
The event, which was staged at Raffles London at The OWO, is hosted by C&IT and is famed as the most prestigious awards in the industry with winners recognised by a diverse panel of industry experts purely on their outstanding achievements.
Speaking on the result, ExCeL's Damian Norman, who heads up the venue's Live Events & Attractions division, said: "We're obviously thrilled to win for the second year in a row. This award is for everyone at ExCeL - and of course to the amazing team at Formula E - and the huge amount of planning, hard work and challenges that have to be overcome in order to put on such a successful event."
He added: "Of course, congratulations must go to ADNEC too for their award which is truly well deserved."
